updated: did some new 180gr and 200 loads and added/spliced them to the end of the vids. Also added final results summary at the end of the vids. (currently working on 200gr vid but it'll be done soon)

new chrono came in the mail so figured I'd run to the range and do some testing. Trying my hand at this youtube thing as well.

I wish you 10mm guys would stop posting. I REALLY don't need to add yet another caliber!

Hey, thanks, good job, great vids!

Can you post a link to this thread in the Ten Ring? There's a bunch of people in there that would love to see these.

I crave 10mm chrono data and this is much appreciated.

You wouldn't know this is your first YouTube video from the excellent quality, helpful running commentary and screen annotations. You put some thought into this to get the chrono display and target both so legible and visible simultaneously; very effective framing.

    Great job!

P.S. You gotta love Underwood 10mm ammo. :)

Yeah, you do. Now I just need to swap my 35 for a 20SF or Gen 4 and I'll be happy.

    Nice work!!
I use the Silvertip, despite being watered down Remfedchester stuff, it gets fair velocity and it's easy to find most places.
I have some Buffalo Bore 180gr too, I know it's good for the numbers.

    Thanks.

yeah basically just thought about it/planned it from the perspective of what I would want to see if I were watching a vid. I was really sweating how to show the avg vel and energy then played with the annotations function on youtube...they make it pretty straight forward.

If I get some time I'm going to do some other 10 ammo I have.

yeah that underwood stuff isn't half bad. Price seems fair for sure. I have some of their 165s I didn't get a chance to try out.

I loved my G20 and wish I'd never sold it. What a sledgehammer. Of ammo were easy to find like 9 and 45 I would definitely get another, and still may. But ammo availability and cost was my big deterrent. I did love that much power and capacity that would put any whitetail down easy!

Could you please type the averages? With AT&T and me being at work on my phone, I can't afford to watch the video's! Thanks for the info.

Get rid of 9mm, 40, 357Sig, 45ACP and 45Gap. Then just load mild or hot 10mm loads. The only time I'd shoot 9mm is when I am not allowed to pick up my brass:cool:

    Good info.
Notice a recoil difference for the loads, especially in bold vs others that appear hotter?
