Range report: G36 vs G43

Rented a Glock 43 to compare to my G36. The 36 has fed everything I've tried. Both were totally reliable, including one handed and weak hand shooting. The G43 made smaller groups.
They both recoil about the same with standard ammo. 45 ACP 230 grain have noticeably more recoil than a 185. The 43 is a lot slimmer than the 36. Might buy a 43 for summer carry.

I like my 43 for what it’s for, up close personal defense with ease of carry and concealment. Also like my 19/4 for occasional carry in cold weather and it is accurate. Neither are as accurate as my Walthers: P99/9mm or ppk/s .380, but I carry the Glocks for ease of use and reliability, not to hit range target centers at 25 yards. I actually like my 19 better than 43, but it is harder to conceal, and I prefer to carry my 43 AIWB. I’ve never been a fan of .45 cal.
19 totally stock, 43 is stock except for Talon rubber grips.
