So the weather eased up today and I got out to the range to run 100+ rounds through my new Sig 226 "Navy". Let me just say, all the positive comments about this gun are true. First, the ergonomics are great. I'm not a big fan of the plastic grips, but I plan on replacing them with Hogue's so I'm not concerned. Second the accuracy is amazing. The target in the picture is at about 12 yds. with fairly rapid fire, not taking much time to aim. Even so, it was hard to miss what I was pointing at. Third, the recoil is actually pleasant, very easy to keep on target. fourth, the trigger is awesome. Very light and clean break, takes little effort. Lastly, function, 100 rounds of Rem. UMC and S&B 115 grain FMJ followed by a magazine of mixed Cor-Bon and Hornady 124 grain JHP with zero malfunctions of any kind. I must say Sig is fast becoming my favorite pistol brand. I know they have gotten some bad press lately, but my 2 Sigs have been top notch and everything that they have built their reputation on.
