range day with p7 and m8

    finally made it to the range after owning p7's for several years and I know why I like my colt 70 series .45 more, the hk clips are PIA to load my thumbs are raw. and the colt .45 is a dream to load up.
    Still managed to let off 500 rds though and yes it was a tack driver at 25-50'

    All in all comparison between the p7 and the m8, I prefer my heel release over the m8. I guess the m8 is gonna take some getting used to

    The P7 and the P7M8 are fine pistols.
    Keep shooting them, they'll grow on you.

    no need to suffer with that m8, got a rock river/citadel/etc .45 i will reluctantly trade for it

    Wow, I bet that was a long range day for you.

    I know my M8 gets hot after the first 5 mags. After 7 mags I take a break and give it a cool down period especially when I'm doing some fast shooting drills.
