It's birthday time and the wife says pick out a nice range bag and electronic ear muffs.. I see many of the GSSF competors using different models....would like to hear you opinions on the ear protection devices and a durable range bag to carry all equipment and two pistols.... I presently carry a bagmaster stage bag and need more carrying capacity....

Green Mountain bags and Peltor ears always worked for me.

A Green Mountain Bag, I saw how well TJC's worked for him. ;) For hearing protection I like my ProEars Slims. You can still hear conversations while other folks are shooting. If I shoot indoors I just double plug. For matches they're great with no extra protection needed. :)

TJC, I'm with you, best bag I've ever owned, standard size is just big enough, Large size Peltor's with the single volume control, I have to turn them off on the line so I can't hear Jerry talking behind me.;z ;z ;z

I investigated the ishot line of bags. I have ordered two and they are top quality. I think Peltor is the best hearing protection.

If you have the Brownell's discount account the ProEars are only 149.97.

I travel light, wo my Dillon bag works just fine for me. Sometimes I just use my black attache case. I have used Wolff electronic ears for about 5 years, but just ordered a pair of Magnum Pro Ears from Brownells.

I just bought a nice large range bag at the NRA Range in Fairfax, they cost $49.95 and are the equivalent of a $100-150 bag that I see some people use and it has the NRA logo embroderied on it. It has three padded lockable and removeable areas for pistols and a large inner pouch for brass if you reload and even has mag pouches in it. Check them out!

    SocomCen,

I'm glad you like the custom embroidered bag you bought from the NRA. It happens to be an i-SHOT ;)

At one time or another I have owned and destroyed most range bags on the market. My Green Mtn bag is 4 years old and going strong. Its the only one I would purchase anymore. Great service too.

I met you at the IDPA match last night right? We talked about Ernie Langdon and Todd Green? I love the bag, I might get another.
