I have been looking at the quoted pricing on SA Stainless TRP no rail. The asked pricing is approx. $1200 to $1450 NIB from gun dealers. If the number of mags is the same why the price difference? Is there something I am not picking up on to justify the $250? Are there more differences out of the box I am not aware of?

    Thanks for the feed back.

NIB $1350 is the average in my area with the high being $1495.
the difference is what the seller wants to get out of them.

just people trying to make $

if you are looking for a SS TRP, also take a look at the DW Valor. they are both priced similarly.

Price are all over the board, with $1300-$1400 being about right.

I was quoted $1325 by my small shop dealer, IMO it would be rare to find one for much less than that new. The high-priced area shop wants $1450.

If you have cash and are patient, you can find a great deal on forums and GunBroker. I just picked up an Armory Kote TRP today, NIB for $950! I waited awhile, but found someone on a CO forum.

With the economy being down, there are people who need money quickly and are offering up all sorts of things cheap. I didn't even negotiate, I just bought it!

^^^^ What he said. If your patient you can buy a brand new TRP for around $1000. There is usually about 1 or 2 on GB every month that can be had for that. I got another SS TRP a couple months ago NIB for $1050. At that price it's pretty damn hard to beat.

Thanks for all the good advice. I have the time and cash to patiently shop and continue to learn more about 1911's. Seems as if I learn something new almost every day. Thanks again for all the sound advice.
