Quick question. I was about to purchase a Kimber ProCarry in the next month or so and went ahead and ordered a VM2 for it to begin the 7 month wait. Having read enough for the past few months about the hit or miss with Kimber quality, and the customer service after the fact, I've decided to keep saving for a few extra months and get a Wesson V-Bob instead. Being new to 1911's, will I need to change my order with Sparks to accomodate the difference in length? Granted it's just a smidge, but I want to make sure it is the right fit. Thanks for the input.

The Kimber uses a 4" barrel, the VBOB has a 4.25" barrel.
So, yes you will need to change the order.

That's what I thought, but wasn't sure where the extra length was...if the open bottom of the holster would accomodate the difference. Will call Sparks tomorrow. Thanks for the assistance.

The VM II for a 4.25" Commander will definitely accommodate the bull barreled Kimber. Probably not the other way around...

I had ordered 4" for the Kimber, but a quick call tomorrow will remedy that.

If you want a C-bob, Stocker's in Warren, OH has one still. i think the price is $1049.
It's been there for a few months now.

In my personal experience both statements are true.

CBOB being held for me. Putting on layaway on Saturday and will have it in a month or two. Thanks Quack! Spoke with Graham at Sparks today and changed my existing order from the 4" to 4.25". Life is good! Now just a little wait for the DW, and a few more months for the leather. Tick tock tick tock...
