Replaced the questions with this thread to show a friend some drills.
It is possible to lighten the Beretta's trigger pull I'm pretty sure. How much, I don't know. But I do know if you look at www.italianpistols.com you'll see that they stock Wolff Trigger Springs in a reduced power unit. Honestly don't know how great it is though since never tried the Beretta pistols yet or any of their parts. Not sure how hard it is to change either so I'd probably say if you were to do it, let this company or a local armorer do it for ya.
Never used either the Beretta or the Sig Pro so its not really fair for me to form an opinion on them. I would say the Glocks you've listed would be great for home defense. Plus they are easy to work on, easy to learn, and all around a great pistol.
