It seems that many competitors of most sports have a "good luck" token or a ritual that they go through before they perform. Kyle Macy, who holds the nation's longest free throw shoot without a miss would ALWAYS bend over and wipe his hands on the top of his socks before shooting a free throw. That was his good luck ritual.

What's your good luck token or ritual before you shoot a GSSF match?

    Inquiring minds want to know.

First I set my bag on the table and pull out the appropriate number of mags. Then, when I told to unbag my weapon, I lay it out. I then put my bag on the ground to my left outside my left foot. Then I bang the magazines I'm using at that stage on the table to seat the rounds. I do it even though I did it when I loaded the mags. Makes some of the ROs nuts, I go real slow, no sense in being in a hurry. :)

As evident from my winnings so far-----"Nothing" . But now that I have had my cataract surgery I guess I could say my "Bionic Eye". ;f ;f ;f Only time will tell. I plan on having a good time either way.

Some shooters have been known to rub Fireglock's head for good luck. I can't reach it, so I'm stuck in the bottom of "A-Class.";Q

I remember a head rubbing he got at Breakfast at Statesville last year, don't know if that person had good luck or not. I also recall someone a year or two ago that use to take their mags and hold them up to their heads to give the bullets guidance. I can't reach Fireglocks head either but it appears to have been rubbed alot. ;f ;f ;f

Hey Jay could I borrow that and send it to my son?

I spoke with him yesterday, seems two fellow soldiers got hit July 28 from his Reg. Only one survived.

Next time I speak with him I'll ask him what he carries for good luck.

    See ya at Statesville.

..I have heard that the "cold compresses" that you can buy are in high demand.

..and they would probably come in handy more than some good luck peice (hey, if your luck sucks.at least you can be cool in 125 degree heat)
