Has anyone who did not vote for President Trump in 2016 changed their minds and decided to support him in 2020?

For that matter, has anyone who did vote for President Trump had a change of heart and decided to oppose him in 2020?

FTR, I voted against him in the primaries, for him in the general and have been pleased with his performance.

Yeah, he convinced me hes going to stick to the agenda he promised and fight it out.

Cant ask for more than that.

I've never in my life (nor likely ever will) voted for a D, but I have always tended to vote third party in the past nationally

I voted for him and he is far exceeding my expectations. I knew he would get the court picks right, but he is doing far more.

    Funny thing.

A couple years ago (I was TOTALLY fed up with the Democrat/Leftist garbage that had been in the White House for years.
One day it was just going through my mind, Who should be the next President?

Out of the blue Trump came to mind.
This is surprising since I've never been a Trump fan. I didn't know much about him, never watched his TV show, etc.
But he seemed to be a smart, outspoken, wealthy, take no crap kind of guy.
I thought this is what we need for a President, to try and straighten out the damage that has been done to the county by the Democrats.

I didn't think any more about it because I didn't think the Republican Party had the Ball* to run a tough man like Trump.
After all, the RINOS just gave the country to a piece of crap like Obama**** twice.

So, when Trump appeared, like out of nowhere, it surprised the heck out of me.
And that the Republicans had the guts to elect Trump surprised me more.

Now, except for a few things I don't agree with (which will always be the case) I couldn't be more pleased with Trump.

Scumbag to women? That's what the media wants you to think, but ask Melania if he's a scumbag. She knows he's a Teddy Bear at heart and mean as a starving Lion when he needs to be. Here's just one example.

I voted for Trump even though I really thought he was a fool, but a much better fool that the alternative.
I have not been even remotely disappointed in my choice and would not hesitate to vote for him again.

In the past, I have always leaned more towards the conservative, but have never voted a straight party ticket. I have always felt that most that do are just too lazy to research each candidate or were just brainwashed by one party or the other.

Recent events however have moved me not to vote for any democrat. Even if a candidate seem perfectly qualified, current events have proven that they can not be trusted., I have to assume that he or she would always put the party ahead of the country.

I have in the past voted for more third party or libertarian candidates than I have Democrats, but I feel that has to end too. Not because none of them would be a good choice, but because we cannot risk taking any votes from the Republicans.
I have very little trust for them either, so when they win, we the people need to be diligent in holding them to their words!

Not arguing with you. Honestly I do not know that much about his personal life.

Just curious what about him makes him a scumbag?

Just can't go Democrat Party. I believe they strive for "equality" by making us all equally destitute.
I like Trump, but he is kinda rough round the edges- to say the least.
........... Hell, I'm loving every minute of it!

That’s a rather broad brush to paint all men with. I’ve walked away from friendships with men who cheated on their wives and have never cheated on mine in over 30 years, despite many opportunities.

I’ve come to view politicians similarly to entertainers in this way. If I didn’t watch a movie because somebody in the production didn’t agree with my views, I would never be able to watch another movie. I long for a return to higher morals and ethics but I don’t see that luxury in the current political climate. I feel it is imperative to vote for the candidate who best supports my overall interests, even though I can’t agree with everything they have done in their life.

BTW I voted for Bernie in the primary just to be able to vote against Hillary, as much of MI did. As soon as Trump got the nod I enthusiastically supported him once I understood what he was really all about and will continue to do so.

Not counting being POTUS, you don't get to be in his type of position by being "nice".

I have a lot of respect for my own CEO and Chairman of the Board for his accomplishments and our company's performance, but I despise him as an individual.
