I have a glock 17 that I had a set of after market sights on. I am planning on get nightsites for it. I had the sights removed and set of factory plastic glock sights put on for temporary use. The plastic sights were used. The front sight has a little side to side play that bothers me. Do any of you have a brand new front plstic sight that has never been installed?

    thoughts?

Did you check to see that the little plastic pin is in it (from the underside)? The pin pushes in & 'expands' the sight a bit to make it snug - not real sophisticated but it works mostly.

As the sight w/pin is barely worth someone's postage, perhaps you could try Glock at 770-432-1202 and ask for Warranty Service & get them to send you one. You only need to be able to field strip the gun to get at the underside interior of the slide.

Thanks, the pin is there. I went to armorer school several years ago so I can change it my self. I will give them a call, thanks.
