I am wondering if the new glock 22 gen 4 mags will work with a gen 3 glock 23
why wouldnt they ? + gen 4 is the end of glock "perfection"!!
Yes, they will work and function 100%.
Google is your friend.
I still don't understand why Glock made the square ambicut in all the new mags if is not going to be used.
Now another side cut on the Gen4 mags????
If my Gen3 mags work on my Gen4 G17, then it should work the other way around. Only when I'm using the mag catch as a righty.
The left side cut mag is for the Gen4 ambi mag catch.
If Glock keeps changing the configuration of their magazines they're going to have all the plastic removed from the outside. They are showing more and more metal.
Yes I know, Thank you.
So what for the square ambi cut in the middle???
I really thing that Glock mags are a very strong reason for Glock reliability. So why mess with that?
I think you're right.
Maybe Glock is still cutting the front square out so the people that got stuck with the ambi mag release guns, will be able to still get new mags. It looks like they have screwed up their mags from now on because the ambi mag release didn't work out.
Prior to the Gen 4 guns, the only Glock offered with ambidextrous magazine catch in the USA is the 21sf. Glock released other models with ambi mag catch worldwide, but not here in the USA.
That is correct. Do you think maybe Glock is making new mags for those other models, that they released worldwide? The USA ain't all the world.
Glock doesn't make a special magazine for the US, that I have heard of yet.
The ambi mag catch on the SF was a flop... a lot of folks had problems.
I like the "Gen 4 way of doing it" much better.
One thing I have noticed, my new gen4 g27 mags don't fit as flush as my gen3 mags do.
I have seen Glock with safeties, and other different models but never seen Glock with ambi mag catch out of the USA, and believe me I travel all over the place.
