    Gents,

I have always bought my blue label guns from a participating gun store; but both of the dealers I usually buy from couldn't give me a date on the model I was looking for so I ordered direct from Glock.

Question is---they just charged my credit card yesterday; how long does it usually take before they ship the gun out after charging? Thanks.

    Plouff,

As an armorer, you should order your Glocks directly through Glock. IF your card was charged, your FFL should receive the pistol very soon.

Civilians cannot order directly from Glock.

GSSF pistol winners must redeem their certificates through Glock.

Thanks for the help Danny. My card was charged for sure.

Your response brings up another question---why should I order direct from Glock rather than my local blue label dealer?

If you're eligible for the blue label program, are an armoror, or GSSF member, you can order from Glock. If you give them a call they'll email you the order form (with prices/options/ect....), fill it out, send it in with a copy of the FFL you'd like to use and your credentials (depends on how you qualify) and they send it to your FFL when it's ready.

It was a blue label 19C (just because I don't have a 19C, not because I think C models are great or anything....). Pics and review will be posted after I get some range time with it...

Thanks, PD! I'm just waiting for the updated list to come out with the new goodies (G20/29/30/33 Gen4) so I can order some of those as an armorer. Hopefully, they'll be available to us this year, so I can knock out the two pistol purchase option for 2012 on a few.

I ordered the new G29 Gen4 as a GSSF purchase at an LE shop, but no telling when those will be available locally.

Thanks again for the note on the turnaround time!

Thats interesting, I had called Glock about a year back and was told the charge goes through when the order is received but it could be 2-3 months before the gun ships...

I called on the 15th after I was charged and April said it would be 'a while' and when pressed, she said 'up to 150 days.'

Orders direct from Glock are supposedly taking 150 days...Always faster to order thru a Blue Label dealer...I get mine same day...I have another I can use out of state which requires overnight shipping, no tax...2 days max

That's why even though I can, I don't order direct from them...
when you're 600,000 pistols behind in production, you're gonna be slow. I have a couple of Blue Label dealers that seem to always have what I want in stock...

Glock always says 150 days lately, but my G26 arrived in about 6 weeks on my last order. I have two Gen4s on order now (17 & 20) and they received the order and charged my CC one month ago. Still no guns, but I have learned that patience is a virtue. Glock just doesn't want you caling them about the order before the 150 days have past.

Does law enforcement qualify in being able to order direct from Glock?
