I just finished detail stripping my G17 for the first time and am wondering if this can cause wear and tear on the gun. I noticed that the back pin for the trigger assembly actually pushed out a burr of plastic albeit a small piece. Since all the pins are basically pressure seated I can imagine that each time you remove them you are loosening the pin holes.

Don't plan on detail stripping very often, but would like to know about this anyway.

    tks.

Your Glock is intended to be used and maintained. Dont worry about the pins working loose. If, by some strange reason it did happen, the frame is lifetime warranted.
