There's quite a difference in the prices of some models... which leads me to think that wilson and nighthawk (which used to be sister companies didn't they?) are superior in quality to kimbers... Would I be right to make that assumption?

Kimber is not even in the same ballpark from a quality standpoint.

As for Wilson and Nighthawk, they were never sister companies (whatever that means). Nighthawk was started by former Wilson employees. The two are basically across the street from one another.

I figured they were of greater quality...
But what of the quality difference in a wilson and a nighthawk?

There really is no difference. Mainly different flavors. WC has been doing it longer and is a larger company, both have great CS and make amazing guns. Same goes when comparing both companies to Ed Brown, Les Baer, Guncrafter, and Springfield Custom Shop.
