Is there any difference in quality and performance from manufacturer to manufacturer on connectors (3.5 lbs)? Does one feel different (smoother) from another?

Yes. Not big differences with most of them though. I've tried them all and find the Lone Wolf's to be the best I've found, it remains the most crisp and keeps the strongest reset... The Scherer and Glock one's feel the same to me and are a bit more mushy with softer resets, and seems the Glockworx race connector is the lightest pull if that's what you're after.

I know the Ghost connector feels smoother than the stock Glock 3.5. Polishing the Glock connector helps a bunch.

Glock no longer has a 3.5# connector. Truth in advertising it is now 4.5#. Glock requires OEM parts for GSSF matches so a 25 cent trigger is what I use.

    I bought 1 last month?
I don't notice much of a difference, but my friend did. He has a stock 19 & shot my 17, & he commented in how lighter the trigger felt.

As you know, Glock Never did have a 3.5# connector. It has always been a 4.5# connector called a 3.5# as most others are. For GSSF some use the Vanek OEM Glock - connector.

The Ghost Rocket has performed the best for me.

There's something about the Lone Wolf design with the thin center that makes the break crisper than the other drop in 3.5 connectors. Vanek uses them for his non-GSSF triggers.

I just put a Rocket 3.5# in my G19 and G36 the other week, very nice....

you have to adjust, and trim to make a custom fit. but in so doing, there is no over travel, reset is quicker... and imo that puts it above the rest.

Scherer or Glock 3.5# and a good polishing helps and gets it where I like it.

    Simple and cheap.

I like the LWD connector over the Scherer in my experience. LWD=light and crisp with short reset.:wavey:

My LWD 3.5 is expected to be here tomorrow. Saw a few YouTubes to learn the install. They say it is only 4-4.5 by itself, and you need a 4 pound firing pin/striker spring to really bring it to 3.5 pounds...and with both, is not recommended for carry. I'm betting (obviously) it is an improvement for my G20 hunting rig!!! What do the best GT minds have to say? :dunno:

I have a 3.5# connector installed by Charlie Vanek on my G29. It's definately something to have on a competition or target gun, other than a CC gun.
