My glock23 shoots fine, and this may be a dumb question, but when you press on the barrell it moves.

Is this how they are made? Does something need to be replaced?

(Im sorry if this is a dumb question or has been covered before, couldnt find anything on it)

Perfectly normal. That's how the barrel in a locked breech action functions.

Normal, what's actually happening is the slide is moving back, very slightly. Try this, hold the slide forward very tightly then push down on the barrel. It shouldn't move.

Glocks have sloppy tolerances. Make sure it's unloaded and without a mag, shake it and listen to the rattle. Everything on it moves.

That looseness is what makes it reliable... like an AK-47 rattle. Glocks have plenty of room inside for dirt, mud, and all kinds of other stuff that jams other guns.
