Have a question:
Can people, who reside on the island of Puerto Rico, be officers in the US Military?
When I served in the 101st, I knew a Warrant Officer who was from PR. He told me that he wasn't able to attend OCS because he lived in PR, which is why he went to WOC school. Now, my wife (a Puerto Rican from NY) is arguing with me over the fact that people from PR can't be officers...she says they can, but has absolutely no proof to back up her assertion.
Please, someone who knows, help me. If I'm wrong, I'd like to know. If I'm right, I'd like to be able to back up what I'm pretty sure is the truth with sources &/or facts.
Thanks, USD
