"Public credits Trump more than Obama for booming economy

In the new fight between President Trump and former President Barack Obama over who did most for the economy, Gallup has an answer: Trump.

A solid majority said that Trump “deserves" the credit for the "improvement in the state of the economy in the past few years.”

The survey found that 61% give Trump credit. Some 51% said Obama deserves credit.

Obama is still taking credit for the economy right now. Giving himself a pat on the back in a tweet yesterday. Mr "those jobs aren't coming back" and "what magic wand does he have".

I think it's safe to say that Obama is a D-Bag.

If you’ve got a business -- you didn’t build that. Somebody else made that happen.

What's he going to do wave some sort of magical wand or something?

Obama referenced Trump's promise to bring back jobs to the United States when talking about manufacturing.

“Well, how exactly are you going to do that? What exactly are you going to do? There’s no answer to it," Obama said.

"He just says, 'Well, I’m going to negotiate a better deal.' Well, what, how exactly are you going to negotiate that? What magic wand do you have?

Does anybody remember the dip in the markets the day after the last election? Even the local left wing propaganda "newspaper" headlined it, and in the comment sections, all the moon-bats were blaming Trump.

Well, things turned right around quick so guess he has to get the credit when thing are going good.

Here an article from CNN about the dip that morning.

Hard to not give credit where credit is due. Thank you, Mr. Trump :flag:

I’m glad Obama brings this up. If Obama is to get credit for the economy 3 years after he’s gone then surely, GWB should get credit for the Nobel Peace Prize Obama got 12 days after Bush left office.

Well, Obama said that what has happened wouldn't happen without a magic wand so he pretty much excluded himself from any credit.

If Obama were smart, (which he isn`t) he should save all the talk for the folks that are going put him in handcuffs soon.

He is the most vain, egotistical wuss I've ever seen. Like one of those female impersonators. Anybody that buys his BS about solving the lack of jobs is either VERY young or VERY stupid! :steamed:

Obama was handed nearly 10% unemployment and a DOW that was near 7,000.
Obama handed trump 4.7% unemployment and a DOW over 19,000.
Trump has done nothing but keep Obama's winning streak going.

If you don't have work nowadays you just don't want to work. It may not be the job of your dreams but its a start. Compare that to the lousy economy of the '70s and '80s tho I always seemed to be able to find a job back then too.

I go to the Grocery nowadays and they have "special" people bagging groceries. Where the hell are the high school kids? Those were jobs we thrived on in HS.
