    Would you trade a PT1911 for 4" stainless GP100?

I'd trade any two Tauri made for one GP-100 in good shape.

Every day of the week, and twice on Sunday.

The GP100 is a great gun that can handle a multitude of tasks *very* well. You'll thank me later. Promise.

    Cheers!

If someone is dumb enough to make that trade, do it immediately.

FWIW, the Taurus has been reliable. I am just getting rid of pistols I don't shoot, carry, or use very often and I want a .357.

I would. GP is dead on reliable, and even if you run out of ammo, you can hit your attacker with it.

I would have made the trade so fast this thread would be bragging about it not should I do it.

No question about it. I bought my dad a 6" stainless GP-100 for Christmas and I liked it so much, I went and bought myself one too (at my first auction!). What a solid, no nonsense, bank vault of a revolver! Besides, my SP-101 needed a big brother. :)

Absolutely, without a second thought. That wouldnt be a fair trade though. that Taurus would have to be an ed brown or a hi end colt 1911 before Id say no way.

It isnt about the price of the gun but its functionality, durability, accuracy and perfection.
