Yeah, I agree. A complete, mostly mil-spec AR for about $520 shipped is hard to beat. I only need the upper (already have a PSA lower), but I'm too broke to even afford that right now. :crying: Hopefully they remain available for awhile.

2000 rounds a month? Hell.....I can barely afford to shoot my G19 that much.

I wish I had the time to shoot 2k rounds per month, let alone the disposable income to support it and/or the disposable income and time to reload that much.

I'd love to see some numbers on the subject, but I'd wager that less than 1% of gun owners shoot more than 500 non-rimfire rounds per year total.

Yup....and since most of the high round count shooters hang out chatting with one another on forums, they get an incorrect idea about how often/much the average gun owner shoots.

Hence, you get the "fighting gun" and "serious working gun" horse****.

2000 rounds of 5.56MM a month? Let's see....at $.35-$.40 a round, that works out to $700-$800 a month just in ammo per month. That doesn't include other expenses like range fees, gas, cleaning supplies, etc., etc.

    That's not very typical.

Wait a minute, you mean I'm the only guy here that gets into a gunfight at Wal-Mart everyday? For real?

Well, if you're at Walmart waiting in line with the neck-beards, trying to get your hands on some bricks of .22, I can imagine you getting into a gun-fight or two a week.

Finally picked up the PSA magpul lower. Pretty nicely built. Can't get the dang trigger guard pin out though. It's tight!

I just blew through 500+ rounds of 22LR today. We were goofing around and sighting in my 22LR SBR.

I go through at least 400-500 rounds of 357SIG and a few hundred rounds of 5.56 a month. I just shot 4 rounds of 300blk this morning. It hurt! It was almost $4!!

3 of the shots were just to hear what it sounds like outside suppressed. The first shot was to put a deer down. (Note to self, even when doing contact shots, use supersonic ammo)

Thankfully, I only have to buy 22LR and 300BLK ammo. The rest is provided by the city.

    I agree

Sometimes they have parts that cost me more than they are charging and I'll order just for the parts. I think the barrels they use are quite good and some of the small parts like the complete b5 lowers are a fairly good deal.

I'm pretty picky about my parts at this point and frankly just dont trust one of their complete builds after seeing their QC lately.
