    I'm currently using "O. H. Nutrition's" Pro Complete 40.

So far so good; just wondering what others are using.

Wally Worlds Body Fortress stuff. Cheap, plenty of flavors, and gives me everything i need. Iv thought about trying other brands, but when i compare the nutritional info on them i just cant justify the price difference.

The same here...besides the casein. For some reason it makes me feel nauseous about 10 minutes after drinking it. :dunno:

Big fan of Dymatize Elite XT... Like the casein/whey blend and it mixes very well.

Does anyone have any worries about using whey isolates?

Not a protein powder, but still an *excellent* workout supplement:

    Meleluka Access Bars

Great Operational Strength - dropped my bike ride times 10%
Excellent Recovery - I'm over 50 and used to *aching* 2 days after a hard ride - This never happened when using the Access Bars! Trust me, I tested this and I could get up the next day and ride after one of my longer rides.

Problem for me is that they contain products not allowed in my diet - oils, whey... so they are off my list.

Perhaps someone knows of a product that blocks the production on Adenosine during workout?

Looking for the *raw* component possibly isolated so that I could add it in before workouts without blowing my diet up.

If you are over 40, you should check out the Access Bars - The rapid recovery is *definitely* worth it!!!

Sorry - Hope I didn't completely Hi-Jack the thread... :wow:

Dumb question but........... I am under the belief that the typical American diet contains more than the recommended amount of protein. What is the benefit of the supplements?

No whey, I'd have more concerns about the soy versions.
