Anyone know the proper way to heat up Sake? The wife & I are having some tonight and wanted it served hot. Also, what is your favorite brand, if any?

    Thanks in advance,

I'm sure the proper/traditional method involves putting the full sake serving bottle in boiling water.

Personally, I just nuke it in the serving bottle for a minute.

The proper way to heat sake is to double boil it in its original bottle. Higher end sakes are best enjoyed cold.

Righto. The way I heat my sake is stick it in the fridge!
Some like it hot, I like the good stuff cold.

Before I got married I would take the bottle of sake with me into the hot tub, along with several female companions... It certainly warmed up in there! ;)
