After many years of hunting whitetails in the the south, I've gotten the itch to bag a pronghorn.
I've had people tell me that it isn't TOO hard in Colorado or Wyoming and that there is a lot of public land available for hunting. Others tell me to avoid opening weekends when it is crowded and the idiots are out in full force.
Can anyone suggest a public area with decent hunting where a working stiff can go without expensive guides and ranch fees?
I'm not young anymore but I don't mind a moderately tough hunt. Any suggestions?
