I have not used the notes part of Powerpoint much, but I decided to try it with an upcomming presentation, and it seems pretty slick...

UNTIL I TRIED TO PRINT THEM!

It prints okay - but it cuts off my notes! The area it gives on the printed page for notes is pretty small- I tried to re-format it like I would a MS Word document so all my text would fit on the page - but it apparently will not let me.

    Any suggestions?

Are you talking about the handouts or the notes page. You should have about 25 lines to fill out if printing in portrait or landscape. What version of PowerPoint are we talking about? Have you looked at print preview and changing what you are previewing??

    Just some thoughts

    Go to the View menu
    View>Master>NotesMaster

All your setup for the behavior of the notes page will be revealed.
Try the Help screen for that area if more info is needed. You will need to operate in the confines of what is setup there. You can setup the Master and all note pages will then be like it. You will also find other Master settings there. It will set them for that ppt file.
