Woohoo!! I went out today and bought an HP Photosmart C6180 all-in-one printer, scanner, fax, copier. So far so good!

It has built in ethernet, so it's only plugged into the WALL and the phone line and that's IT! I can print wirelessly from anywhere in the house and the print quality is really great.

Mr Shoe is downstairs installing the software on his Mac Mini and his laptop, so (fingers crossed) he'll be able to print wirelessly too from anywhere in the house.

THANK YOU ALL for your wonderful help and advice!!

    Hugs and kisses,
    Shoeless

I sure hope they updated the software/drivers from the HP2500c "all in one" I had. The software was very buggy and slow. Every time I shut down I got some different HP type "failure to close" box. Tried the latest drivers to no avail. Machine finally died after a few years. Running a Lexmark now and couldn't be happier! It doesn't have built in wireless, but I connect it to a wireless router via ethernet and all my wireless computers print fine.
