I bought the GT-5000 strips on Amazon.com. I like the rubberized texture more than the sandpaper grip tape. Some people use skateboard grip tape or tread strips from Lowes/Home Depot. I saw a video where the guy said he bought the grip tape strips in the automotive section of Walmart.

I have rubberized Talon grips on six of my guns and kept the backing from them for a pattern, planning to save some money on my next ones. I even bought a sheet of material from Talon, but quickly decided it wasn't worth it to save $10. That stuff is hard to cut and make as professional looking as they do. Plus, none of my grips have come loose yet.
