So I was really excited about my primary arms purchase M4 red dot optic. I get it in and mount it to my quad rail on my ak. 1st time out I get it close to sighted in ran out of time. Second time out I could not get it zeroed in to save my life, then all of a sudden it cut off on me. I thought maybe the battery is no good so I put a new battery in and nothing. So I email PA and they are great and immediately send me another out with return shipping label (awsome) they guy at PA also told me I should take the spacer off so it won't sit so high on my ak and sent me shorter allen head bolts. I thought that was nice of him. Get the sight and its setup with the spacer and has two short bolts in the box. So i take the spacer off and the go mount the M4 to the mount with the supplied bolts and it 1 of the two bolts wont tighten i look at the threads and the first two threads are stripped i guess overtighten from the factory. Frustrating but i know stuff happens. So I email PA and they tell me at this point send them both back and they would give me a full refund. As if i am being difficult. I told them i don't want a refund I want a working optic for my AK. Im frustrated they act as if i am being difficult when I feel I have been pretty understanding considering the circumstances what do you think?

You are not being difficult at all and I will get to the bottom of it. Shoot me a email and I will make sure we remove the spacer on one and check it out and get it to you ASAP.

Thanks

Now that is some good CS. Think I may look into a PA 3x Magnifier ( instead of the EOtech one) when I get back from overseas this time for my AR...

I have been running a P.A. M3 for over 3 years now. It is sighted in at 50yrds. Put 100 rds thru it yesterday, 5 to 50 yrds. ZERO complaints, it just works.

Just looked up the Baldridge Quality award program, interesting. I've heard good tihgns about the PA 3x magnifier and seeing some good customer service just added icing to the cake. Like I said, going to treat myself when I get back home.

I just wanted to update my situation shot Mr. Marshall and email in which he responded very quickly and and recommended some good options i was not even considering before. I then recieved a call the next day from one of the co owners in which Customer service was explained to me as a top priority of the company and they were going to do what it took to make the situation right. We talked through the options for an optic on an AK, then they said they would have the optic in the mail that day and would pay the return shipping on both optics i currently had. My optic was at my house in 3 days( As was the others) That was a great experience then I got a call a few hours later with them wanting to know the brand and style mount/rail i would be using so they could make sure everything was going to work together. they looked up my rail online while I was on the phone and assured me everything was going to be good. I shot my microdot yesterday and it worked great i put about 60 rounds through it and enjoyed the optic. Stuff is gonna happen with any mass produced product but how a company stands behind their product really matters.

I think Primary Arms is a great company. This thread is a good example of why. They have great products and great prices. I asked some questions about an AK set up when I purchased my micro red dot and the customer service guy walked me through it the same way. In fact he was so knowledgable I thought he must have been a Red Army armorer back in the day :)

I always check Primary first if I'm in need of optics, mounts or related stuff. The combo packages are tought to beat.

Another + 1 for PA. I've bought several optics from PA, and have been to their brick and morter quite a few times. They are very helpful, as is Marshal.

I am so glad they are showing up at the local gunshows. For those in the Houston area, check their gunshow specials out. They brought some nice little flashlights to the last one I went to and I stupidly didnt pick one up. The guy said they only had a few, and low and behold, none on the web site. I wont make that mistake again.

More to the point, I have a PA micro on my Draco with a PALM/MI rail - awesome optic for the price. Held zero and was combat accurate out to 50 yards. Took all that 7.62x39 could give and more. Great optic, great company.

I have considered the PA line many times for my first RDS. The CEO personally handling this guys problem that quickly on an open forum speaks volumes to me. Well done, sir.

Go for it, bud! I've got their micro red dot on my AR and really couldn't be happier with it. I guess if this rifle ever ends up in a patrol car with me I'll spring for an Aimpoint, but for plinking and possible HD it works just fine for me.
