Great carry piece, one of the BEST Kimbers available!
A series I should sell for $850-1000 easily.
A new series II sellers for $900 & change.

The Series I models are certainly more desirable.

What's the serial number, I don't believe Kimber made SS pistols for more than two or three years before the series II models came out.

List it for $1,000. I would pay that for it if I were in the market for one. If you're the first and only owner and it's never been fired outside the factory, tack on a bit more.

That's a beautiful and very desirable pistol. Good luck on the sale, you should have no problem moving it provided the right people see it--this wasn't a bad place to start!

I have a Kimber Pro Carry SLE. Basically the same gun. I would never sell it. The series I Kimbers (IMHO) are the best Kimbers out. They shoot sooo nice.

maybe if you shoot it, you might want to keep it then, just saying, good luck any way.

FWIW, if I had that, Kimber, unless I was hard up for cash, it would be on the never sell list!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

An inch shorter than Government, full size grip, all stainless construction, American Made, and no front cocking serrations. What more could you possibly ask for in a 1911?
