Yeah, no. There is no law requiring any news agency to report on a story. While it might be a good sound bite, it has no relation to the truth. Not reporting on a this story just makes them biased and puts into question their journalistic integrity, but that's not news.
Someone hasn't quite got the hang of that whole concept of political deflection, soft-pedal and double-speak, has he?

Still not a crime. There are journalists with integrity. They're just not easy to find.

Depends to what extent they go to. If they hide evidence, obstruct investigations or what not then they are in fact criminals.
