Hello all, absolute newbie to this forum and accidental owner of what I found today is one of the rarest G19s out there AN584 with a production code of BTT and stamped KS ABC 24. I obtained this many years back here in Tracy, CA.
It was and is my first and only handgun to date, I bought it for home defense and actually never shot it often. After reading the very informative threads from @glockhoarder and @SmokieXD45 I had to share. I have only the gun and the hi cap mag that came with
it, none of the accessories or the case.

I hope to do more research, get some kind of appraisal. Thanks all for your informative comments and also thanks to the creators and admins of this forum!

    Jim F

That thing looks great. I was surprised to see the "Smyrna" stamp on the frame though. I'm not up on my Glock history - was the Georgia factory up and running for the first generation of Glocks?

There is just something cool about old guns, the way the bluing ages I guess. Love that look.

    WOW Jim!!!

Talk about a grand entrance to the forum!! The Holy Grail of Glock collecting.

Can u share the story of how and when u came upon it?

Rough estimate of value is about $10K if sold in a true auction on the open market. None has sold on the open market for several years. The last that did pushed $7000. Private sales have been around $10K very roughly.

    Incredible!!

SO glad u found this and posted.

    Hope u become a regular!

Glock Inc Smyrna GA refers to the “importer”, not the “manufacturer”. It is a ATF requirement to be marked on the gun. Glock molded guns destined for the US in this fashion. Glock Inc was formed in 1986 in Smyrna, GA.

In about 2008-2009 there were some marked as Glock Ges.m.b.H since they were not destined to go to the US. They were later marked with “Glock Inc Smyrna GA” on the bottom of the trigger guard to meet import requirements before they were brought to the US.

Now, OP, you just need to upgrade it with a custom "combat" frame stipple job (don't be afraid to do that yourself with a soldering iron), some attractive decorative cutouts on the slide's top and sides, gold-nitride the metal parts, and purple-cerakote the frame, install the most expensive "tactical" trigger, recoil spring, and mag well, and top it off with a slide milled for a red dot optic.

The value will then soar into the $200-plus region!

    Looks great!
Call me cynical, but... first post and you share THAT beauty?!
(like... you're not going to offer that beauty for sale, right?.... cuz if so, SCAM alert!)

If you're legit... welcome to the forum!! Thanks for sharing!

I will take more photos, better quality and more details, and share as much info as I have. I bought this gun I want to say early to mid 90s here in Tracy, CA, at a now defunct shop at 22 E 11th St "Tracy Shooting Supplies" was the name. It was just the one glock available to a newbie gun buyer for less than a brand new one, and so perfect for me, as I wanted a 9mm and something easy to own, maintain, and become proficient with.
I have had it since then, unaware that it held any value higher than what I had paid for it. Until this week. Still stunned. Contacting my insurance man asap!
Thanks @glockhoarder for sharing all the info in your many threads here, I have learned a lot from you and others here.
