I am sure that this is redundant,...but is it safe to carry a Walther PPK/S loaded with one chambered with the safety off ? I generally do not like safeties. The first shot is stiff enough to not have to worry about a accidental discharge due to trigger pull and more than I would a revolver. Is there something that I should know that I do not ?

Its fine as long as the hammer isn't cocked.

Thank you very much. I generally carry mine with one in the pipe and a fully loaded mag, safety off with hammer down. I was told that it was not safe to carry that way unless the safety was engaged but I argued with him. Thank you for answering back.

    No problem.

That's the way its supposed to be carried. That's what a decocker is all about. Otherwise, it wouldn't make a whole lot of sense.
