The posted times in GT still seem to be one hour off.;g
Go into your CP user settings and kick your setting over one time zone. Taaaa Daaaa!
I'm in Indiana and my time selected is Central Time Zone.
GlockTalk shows 9:05am the time should be 10:05am.
Mine use to be correct when I had it set to Central Time, but I had to chsnge it to Eastern Time to get it right.
Like DWavs said, just go to User CP and set it to Eastern and the correct time will be shown when you post.
After you change it you can try a test time post here.
I live in the Eastern time zone.
Here, I have my options set to Atlantic time - one hour earlier.
This accounts for Daylight Saving Time, since the master clock is based on GMT.
It's worked for me this way since Spring.
I expect to change it back in the Fall.
Hi folks. This has been covered a few times. The GT server is in MST, but in Arizona. AZ doesn't recognize daylight savings time, so everyone else's time zone in the US changes twice a year, relative to ours. The VBulletin software I use it not smart enough to figure this out though.
I will be doing some hardware upgrades on the server that GT resides on in a couple of weeks and when I do, I am going to set my whole network for PST. Maintaining the system on AZ MST is proving to be more trouble than it is worth. Until then, if your time offset is off, try the offset above or below the one you are currently using. Thanks...Eric
