I’d leave this guy 50 pounds of peanuts if he’d give me one of these during the day.
What is that
Flying squirrel that visits often. Always at night.
My spot in Western NY
Here are some of mine...
This guy shows up every couple of days...
As does this bobcat
And this coyote doing his business
Haven't see the bear in awhile but here it is...
Up at my club we have a "trailcam mystery" going on. We have 30ish acres of woods available for club members to hunt. Most of us that use the property are bow (or crossbow, like me) hunters. This is private property, with property lines VERY well marked since the woods surround the club's 200 yard range. Members have put up a few trailcams here and there.
This fall one of the bow hunter's trailcams has caught an unknown bow hunter near one of the deer feeders a couple times. No vandalism or anything like that, we just aren't sure who he is - if he is a club member, he hasn't made himself known, and if he is not a member he is trespassing. He has shown up a couple times so far.
This isn't just because he may be a trespasser, but also a safety issue - those of us who hunt there know the range rules regarding shooting times, and where it is safe when near the ranges.
I'll try to post the nighttime, semi-blurry "bigfoot style" pictures to post... lol!
lol, just as I posted that, I got a text that they figured out that it is actually a club member. Oh well, fun mystery while it lasted.
Wolves at the bear bait pile. Can you count them all?
