Pretty much self-explanatory; post your picture of your "rifle of the gods"!
go Norinco, go!!!
I made the custom stock last year in Woods class!
Yugo (purchased unissued), it was "circumsized", cut off the GL, GL sights, bayonet, etc...
The barrel is now approx. 19" long.
It's been completely reliable, a very nice rifle.
Here's my Norinco.
Here are a few of my SKS's:
Norinco (top): 1980's import, Russian stock & bayonet, 20 round Chi-Com mag
Yugo 59/66 SKS: Century Arms Import
Yugo 59/66 SKS: Inter- Ordnance Import
Russian SKS: 1953 Tula, laminate stock, refurb, Century Arms Import
Here is a pic of my four SKS's, 2 Yugo's and 2 Norinco's. One Norinco has a homemade camo job over a synthetic Monte Carlo stock. The other Norinco is a 16" paratrooper version.
I love my SKS's!
Next to the Mini 30 from left to right are a Norinco Paratrooper, Yugo, Albanian, Norinco and a Russian.
MY sks is a Sporter SKS-D (or M. I can't remember.) Anyway It's got the 16 in barrel without the bayonet lug and it takes AK mags. I like that thumbhole stock, and I have Williams ghost ring rear and fire fiberoptic front sights on it. They work beautifully with this rifle. I have a folding stock for it, but it's broken. Thankfully ATI has a lifetime warranty. So they'll replace it no problem when I send it back. It's accompanied by my German Shepherd Bosco, my GLOCK 30 with X2 light and 27 round mag, an 18 inch Stiletto, and my Mossberg 590.
Which one's Bosco?
Seriously though, that is one SWEET stock you got there...
is it custom?
No I think it came standard for that particular model. I've seen a couple others like it with the same stock.
Well, it sure looks purdy...
Where can you get a Glock 30 mag that holds 27 rounds?
I think Scherer makes them. Try googling them.
Here is my Yugo I just got a week ago!
At 45 yards. I fired 10 rounds, then put up this target and shot 5 rounds. I was happy!
I got all 3 of mine from Cheaper than Dirt. On sale for $40 right now appearantly.
OK I'm in for a dollar....
Recent photo in Tapco plastic ...
In original wood ...
As shipped ...
To give some idea of how much cosmo you need to peel off of them...
I bought a couple more but I haven't had a chance to photo them ... When I do I'll post teh pics.
