Might be moving to Nashville for a job opportunity I've had three interviews for the job so far. My wife and I would be looking for a place to rent when we get down there. What areas of town are recommended and any other tips for someone just coming in to Nashville.

Live in Franklin if you can afford it.

If you have to rent, try to find something in Donelson/Hermitage (east), Mt. Juliet/Lebanon (east), or Joelton/Hendersonville/Gallatin (north). Franklin, south of town, is a very nice area, but that county has the highest median income in the state, and you will pay for it through property, both rented or owned.

Do not rent near Hickory Hollow Mall on the south side, that area has become the epicenter of Nashville's crime wave.

I'll be glad to pickup some apartment books for you at the local grocery and mail to you, just PM me through GT.

    Good luck with the interviews.
