Agreed. I respect Catholics as fellow Christians, but this pope has said some unBiblical things, such as this most recent bit. Then there was his bit about not judging homosexuals (the Bible says it's an abomination), and his bit about using empty nunneries to house refugees (if he was referring to Christians fleeing Muslim murderers, then okay. But if he was referring to bringing more Muslim invaders into Western lands under guise of being 'refugees', then no way). Following one's God-given conscience is certainly better than violating it, but the Apostle Paul noted that good works alone aren't enough for salvation. You need faith in Jesus. Hitler, Stalin, Mao, and Mohammed might have deluded themselves that they were righteously following their consciences too. But how many really think that God will judge such sinful, anti-Christian evildoers favorably? I for one sure wouldn't count on it.
