Maybe someone can shed some light here......

Our work PC has a problem with adult pop-up ads. Two routinely show up. One is from Adultfriendfinder.com, and the other comes from http://453.us/sites/clickcash-m/

Pop-up stopper pro and Norton Internet Security (with ad-blocking enabled) are both running, but to no avail. I've run both Ad-Aware and Spybot S&D thinking that perhaps it was an ad-ware problem, but that doesn't help either.

These are the only two pop-ups that ever appear. Any ideas or advice?

Switch to Firefox on all PCs. I get zero popups.

Try Spy Sweeper, it's what Dell recommends. I used to use Spybot, but the newest version just crashes when it goes to clean up the system. Also, as Harlequin pointed out, get Mozilla Firefox. It has a built-in popup blocker that tells you when it has blocked a popup. It can differentiate between an annoying popup and a legitament site-related popup.

    Thanks for the replies.

I run Mozilla on my home machine. This is work, and the powers-that-be refuse to allow me to install anything other than IE. They have this insane belief that using anything other than IE will open the Gates of Internet Hell and our world will come crashing down.

I have read the sticky at the top of the forum, and done as suggested (this was before the pop-ups started, though).

I've tried the other suggestions, so we'll see if it helps.

    Thanks again.

Why aren't you running XP SP2? If it isn't spyware related, the built in popup blocker works quite effectively.

Have you tried running Adaware using the "custom scanning option" and selecting everything it will let you check? This will find alot more hidden stuff than the standard options.
