Polycase ARX Ammo

    Polycase has started marketing a polymer/copper projectile pistol cartridge. Its available in .380, 9mm, .40, and .45 ACP. Has anyone tried this stuff? It appears to make up for bullet weight with velocity...it's not quite as stout as a lead bullet, but really close. Any opinions? Please advise...

    Yes, this my current carry ammo. In several reviews it looked impressive. I like the concept. It has been flawless in my 19 & 43. The recoil is no stronger than a 115 grain standard pressure round. Accuracy seems very good. It makes both my carry guns measurably lighter, too.

    I like the light weight and the design of the cutouts that are used in place of hollowpoints. How is the performance at longer distances? It seems like the velocity might fall off quickly with such a light projectile...
