Hillary was going to win, too.

If the pollsters called me, I'd tell them I'm voting for Kamala (I'm not).

I'd also tell them that I do not own any firearms.... :D

I have to agree with the above posts.

In the handful of times I've been called.... I don't think I've ever told the truth about my opinion.

But then again, neither have most politicians.

What should scare you is the 4 million welfare recipients added to Florida in one month. How many votes did Trump win Florida by? How many of those 4 million are voting for free stuff? Does a republican ever win an election after Florida goes blue?

    That's good.

A comfortable lead in the polls keeps more confident Dems at home on election day and motivates more Republican votes to get out.

Yeah right the polls said Hitlery was going to win. Trump opened up a can of whoop a$$ on her. Then she crapped herself and became the biggest crybaby in U.S. history.

as bad as i hate to say it i dont think trump has a chance in 2020. call me negative or whatever , but the dems will lie , cheat and steal to win this one moreso than anything we have seen yet. there will be voter fraud and missing ballots turning up for weeks afterwards. the last couple of weeks leading up to and after this one are gonna be ugly. they will not be denied again.

The dems tried that in the last election and they had Obama and the FBI helping them, not so this time.

Long way to go before election day.

    Some thoughts:

    1. Due to the rabid hatred of Trump, many supporters remain quiet and don't reveal their true feelings.
    2. Hard to believe either Sanders or Warren could win. At some point the sheer insanity of their proposals has to drive voters away.
    3. Biden is a worse candidate than Hillary. He just can't help himself - always puts his foot in his mouth.
    4. Easy to skew a poll. You just over-sample the people who agree with your point of view.
    5. Fundamentally, their platform is a) open borders, b) increasing everyone's taxes, c) spending another 100 trillion, d) taking away everyone's employer provided insurance and e) abortion anytime anywhere any reason up to and beyond birth.
    And that's just the highlights.

The key will be whether the dem candidate campaigns hard enough and follows a strategy to win the electoral college. That and swaying the independent vote is what truly made the difference in 2016 and it should make the difference in 2020.

We don't have any skin left on our teeth from the miracle reprieve from Hillary in '16.

Anyone who hasn't crossed all the toes and fingers they can articulate is deluded.

Trump won by a hair last time.

Demographics have changed, even in the last few years.

Democrats did NOT pull out all the stops last time. They thought they had it in the bag.

They have been developing an organized structure for the ground game since then.

The social media companies are going to have a way bigger impact than political ad money could ever compete with.

Yeah, their candidates look weak, so did Trump at this stage in the primary.
