Yes, the thought of anyone trying to avoid paying the IRS the most amount of money humanly possible is horrific.

I send the IRS extra money every year, just because.

Trump knows how to file a tax return that has maximum effectiveness. Sounds good to me.

I do not consider information that is illegally obtained.

A crime has been committed. Someone needs to go to jail.

The Trump campaign says the NYT is lying and we all know how unreliable the NYT is.

Meanwhile Biden's income was derived by mooching off the taxpayer for 47 years and taking money from all sorts of influence peddlers.

I'm still waiting for a reason why Obama had a Connecticut social security number.

I wish they would release how much his actual businesses paid in taxes, but that will never happen

Ok, we get it, you guys don't trust the media. Can we please get back to talking about how bad Trump is for trying to save money on his taxes?

Trump is the problem here, he's the problem and we've got to focus on the problem!

    Come on man!

he didn't make the tax laws. he pays an accountant to inform him the best way to use those laws and pay the least he legally can.

I wonder how those millionaires in Congress' tax filings and payments would compare to Trump's? I know my wife and I pay an accountant a lot of money each year to maximize deductions. I don't see it as a negative. It's good business sense. If our lawmakers had that financial acumen, our national debt wouldn't have over taken our GDP and we'd be operating on a balanced budget. Pure deflection and persecution on the Dem's part...

Seems to me we should be looking to Congress if we feel the income tax deductions are unfair.

And I've always been struck by the system itself: YOU must tell the government how much tax you owe, then THEY tell you if you're wrong.

Tax AVOIDANCE is just good business and we should all do it. Tax EVASION is another issue all together.

And finally, I'm a believer that NO BUSINESS PAYS TAXES. When a business sells a product part of the pricing is the taxes they must pay. So the tax is passed along to the consumer.

So ya, I'm still voting for TRUMP.

Seriously, let’s see Hunter Biden and Joe Bidens a tax returns? Have they been audited? Trump has, as far as I know he hasn’t been charged with tax fraud. Not to mention these hypocrites never pay more in taxes like they proclaim is best.

Trump the man is always getting attacked. Trump the President gets little attention because he's been one of the greatest ever.

I don't give a damn about his taxes as a billionaire businessman. He's done great things for my taxes.

How about his taxes now? He donates his salary to charity.

I am not a tax attorney so there is no way I am competent to decifer his tax returns and the NYT lost all credibility a long time ago.

I do think the US Attorney who leaked them should be fired though.

I would never vote for Biden no matter what . There is nothing that Trump can possibly do to make me vote for Biden . I have not voted since 2004 and Trump might do something that would make me stay home but it would be more than taxes .

We all know his taxes are done for him by some firm . Tax laws are there to be used. Let's see Biden's tax return .

Not changed a thing here .

This is just beating a dead horse as far as I'm concerned. Just another distraction conveniently thrown out for the election cycle.

The next trick will be a bogus accusation from a former White House staffer or business associate. It's coming...

Okay, so Trump has likely paid more in taxes than 99% of the rest of us. He has worked for 4 years straight, for the government without collecting a paycheck and financed much of his own campaign cost. He put himself and his family into a brighter spotlight of scrutiny than anyone else in history AND, he works 20 hours per day, 7 days a week!

Through his public and private life, he has employed or saved the jobs of countless Americans!

No! I am NOT concerned about Trump paying his fair share.
