    If you can only have one handgun, Pistol or Revolver, what will it be?

    Think long and hard before you decide to vote for your personal best. Don't limit it to the guns you already have. If you are given only one chance to pick your only handgun, what will you get?

    Glock 36 for reliability, ease of use, caliber, size and comfort.

    Ok let me be the first to break the pistol streak. Revolver gets my vote. But haven't decided yet which make and model.

    What can I say?
    My BERSA Thunder 380 :)

    Barring that, I'd probably go for a Taurus hammerless five-shot revolver,
    with a handful of 'stellar clip' speedloaders.
    I like simple, straightforward designs :)

    Very hard, this is like the "who are you going to save if ...." question. ;f

    In the past I would go for a revolver like the Colt Python or an S&W .44 mag 629. This time I would say a compact high cap 1911 or 2011 type. An STI VIP or a Para Carry comes to mind. Okay..okay..just one? The VIP :)

    For reliability & durability , I'd go for ;

    Heckler & Koch P7M13 or Walther P5c (I had one of this before^2).

    a .357 Magnum revolver. Preferrably the GP-100 or Colt Python. Or a 9mm moon clip fed revolver, also made by Ruger and some by Taurus. I think there a 9mm revolvers out there. Why? If unfortunate times happen and I have to bug out with my family. I dont want provision for ammo feeding devices for an autoloader be a problem. You may lose one magazine in a gunfight, then another for some reason until all you got left is an ultra reliable, single shot, very hard to reload semi-auto. With a revolver, I can carry all the moon-clips and/or speed loaders I have and loose them all and I will stil have a 6 or 7 shot handgun. But that's just me.
