Where I work, getting your "smart" phone out could get you fired so I don't get it out and prefer a watch to tell time anyway. It's what they're made for.

We have worn a wrist watch continually since early teens (a considerable while ago), except for two brief experiments with pocket watches, neither of which proved satisfactory.

The first experiment was with an actual pocket watch, long before the advent of the cellular phone. Didn’t work for us. The second try was much more recently with a cellular phone. Still no good. A pocket watch is simply not convenient for us.

We own a few (nothing real swell or expensive) and favor a solar powered watch that daily sincs with the NF2 atomic clock, generally Casio products.

    We trudge on.

When I worked I didn't for safety reasons. Since I'm retired, I wear one every day. Just a cheap old Timex Expedition.

I bought a Rolex GMT Master II about 17 years ago. I strap it on when I wake up, and take it off when I go to bed.

I haven't wore one for over 10 years. Interestingly though, I can still see a light area where the band was

My job has been about time for 40 years. Seconds matter. Every minute is critical. I am no longer doing that. However my natural sense of time is pretty amazing. I can have no watch and know what time it is within minutes. Dont know how i do it but i just do.

My girlfriend years ago gave me a very very expensive tag dive watch.. she had sime family diamonds added to it. That watch disappeared somehow. It was stolen off of our nightstand and after that happened I could never put on another watch.. whoever stole it stole a piece of my life that i miss every day.

No. Before smartphones I still never wore a watch, I don't like the feel of one on my arm.
