Wrist watches are obsolete, just jewelry.

I typically wear a watch. For about 20 years I’ve had two Movados, and to me the style of them just kind of went out. Over the last two years I’ve been wearing a G Shock DW5600 I bought on vacation because I wanted something to time my sun exposure/ocean swim time. Great watch, indestructible but definitely not a watch for all occasions.

I had been window shopping luxury (albeit entry level) for the last 3 years and then finally, last week I just picked up a Grand Seiko. Amazing piece of work it is.

I wear a G Shock sometimes. Usually on the weekends when working around the house or running errands.

    Yes.
    G-Shock.
I work a 12 hour shift. Two days on. Two days off. Three days on. Two days off. Two days on. Three days on. Repeat.
I wouldn't know what day it is if it weren't for a watch.

Heavily weighted to the electric side. A lot more digital fans than I was expecting. I do like a solar one I have but I just can’t shake the mechanicals. A solar Citizen is stone cold reliable but what happens when the sun burns out? You ask me what time it is, that’s what. LOL By the way I have had a Seiko Kinetic battery(or capacitor?)die and it’s cheaper to buy a new one. So mechanical is what I usually choose.

No wrist watch for me, I prefer a clip or pocket watch.

Just bought a new watch last night. Backordered at seller so won't get here for a little while, but couldn't say no to the price. Pretended nonchalance gloat photos coming soon to a GT watch thread near you.
