A friend gave me six political signs with the names of local republicans running for office. My property adjoins a busy road. I posted the signs about twenty feet from the road on my own property. I'm not sure how long it took for someone to steal them but it was they could not have been up more more than two hours! :flag: Feeling are running high.

I had that happen. I would actually sit outside in the dark, waiting for some unhappy, fat, divorcee to steal them. Luckily for me, that never happened because I would prolly have a criminal record.

Remember - anyone unhappy enough to steal yard signs is unhappy generally in life. And we can take solace in that.

Signage reassignment is way more fun than stealing!

I "found" a Hillary sign in 2016 and reassigned it to my neighbors yard.

He came home from work in the daylight after it had graced his yard for a few days, saw it, and burned it. He's still pissed about that one, even though we don't get a half a dozen cars a day on the road.

Is it stealing after the election?

They might (ahem...) make great target holders......

I use them at the range and don't discriminate by party. I do wait a full week after the election before collecting them. The electric Trump sign was sweet, but it has an unlike button?

I found out who took my signs down. It was a Democrat friend and neighbor. I bought my house and property from him. For years is was his property and he still thinks of it as his. We share the driveway. South of the driveway is his property. North of the driveway is mine. My house is much further from the land then his business. He found out from a mutual friend that I had put up the signs. He apologized to me for taking them down. He thought someone stuck them in the ground without permission. Anytime he he talks politics with me I nod and do not argue with him. He did not think I would put up signs. He mows the grass and removes the trash that motorists toss on the grass. I'm not upset with him. We had a big laugh over it.

I was planning on using them for targets after the election. I mentioned that to him. He said "the actual politicians would be better targets. LOL

Yup. I am still seeing an unlike button. I have wished for an unlike button in the past, but am wanting to "like" your post.

Yes, they do not belong to you.

    You already clicked "like."
You may now change your mind by clicking "unlike". Think of it as "un do."

If the sign is not within the confines of your property it is a code violation. I take them to save you being cited for a code violation, you can thank me now.
