I have heard you can polish the links on a steel watch band somehow, and I was wondering if any of you have ever done this.

If it makes any difference I just wear a cheap Invicta, ( http://www.geekwatches.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/06/invicta-mens-automatic-pro-diver-s2-watch.jpg ) and the center links in the bracelet are highly polished, and are now starting to show scratches all over. I would like to polish them if it is possible.

I have a dremmel and polishing wheels, but they seem kind of stiff, and I don't want to mess the watch up more than it is.

Sorry for not having my own pics, I can post them tomorrow because I left it at my SO's house yesterday.

    Thanks for any help,

    Nathan

Use Mothers mag polish and a soft cloth. I've used the stuff on many metal items that looked great after just a few minutes.

Crocus cloth well, and so does those steel wool substitutes.
It will leave it with more of a brushed look.
