So, if I have a converted Saiga do I go for one of those Polish 1960s or stick with what works and buy another? Kind of hard to pass up for $300 at J&G. Heck, even a really good parts kits is almost that much. Then again variety is good...

The only knock I have heard on the Polish milled is they don't have a chrome-lined barrel. People do seem to like them a lot from what I gather. Of course the Saiga's are always good to go. If you already have a converted Saiga I would give the Polish rifle a try.

I'd go with another Saiga, (6 so far here  ).

A factory new Russian barrel, (cold hammer forged, chromed), is one of the very best available. I can't say the same for whatever aftermarket US-made barrel they use in that Polish kit rebuild.
