I thought the price was just pensyllvania....

how much to ship to NC?

is SC (or GA or Ohio) the same?
$26 US Mail for the new G38. Shipping on the used G37's is free.

Been doing a little research on the GAP's for a next purchase. How the heck are aengies trading them in already? It is still a fairly new gun. I thought that most agencies kept their guns for at least 10+ years.

Guess they didn't like them - and have gone to something else. Based upon the number of "lightly used" G37s for sale in this batch, I suspect they came from a small to medium sized local agancy.

I've bought two of these from Markl. (I haven't gotten around to shooting the second one, yet!) I'm fairly new to shooting so I can't really give a good review of the performance of the 37. However, I have no complaints at this point in time.

After I purchased the first 37, I sent an e-mail (September 1, 2011) to Ryan Castor of Markl Supply...

Hello Ryan,

Looking forward to receiving the Glock. I'm just curious... I "assume" these Glocks became available due to a Law Enforcement "change out/upgrade?" Any thoughts on "why" they changed out? Again, just curious.

Thanks!

Bill

Hi Bill,

These guns are actually PA State Police trade-ins. Each new recruit with the PA State Police receives a brand new Glock service weapon. Each weapon that belonged to a retiring officer is sold back for credit towards the new service weapons. In general, those officers retiring tend to fire their service weapons less, which, in the end gives us some really nice weapons to pick from for our customers.

The department has not decided to transition out of the Glock 37 at all—they’re just very adamant about having a brand new service pistol for each brand new recruit.

Hope this helps.

Anyway, you may want to call Markl's and see what they have to say - 412-358-9660.

I ended up buying a G38 from a retiring NYSP. That made me want the 37 even more. I was so close to ordering a trade-in from Markyl. Was up late one night, placed an order but it wouldn't go thru because I was using Am Ex.
Ryan called me a few days later to let me know it would have to be done over the phone. At that point, I was on a mission to find a Gen 4. Markyl was out of them. A contact in Colorado got me one and I should have it real soon.
