Holy crap! I've never seen anything like that. I wouldn't want to have to explain to the brass how I came back without a front bumper.
what is he doing?
just put it in reverse and floor it.
backing up a few hundred meters/yards
Um . . . . why DIDN'T they shoot it? What's the point of letting that dog - that is obviously dangerous, aggressive, and out of control - live? So they can endanger animal control? So it can maybe destroy more property and lives while you wait?
Sorry - but I would have shot the dog ASAP, not made a video of it's rampage. "Restraint" is often mistook for indecisiveness.
BAD DOG!! He needed some shock therapy.
I guess the officer likes to play tug-o-war.....
Or "D" and the pedal to the floor.
Effing mutt. Funny, until its some kid's head he's playing "tug-o-war" with.
I like dogs overall, but I honestly believe that it should be legal for any citizen to shoot pitbulls on sight. If you see some thug walking one down the street, you should be able to get out of your car, shoot the dog, and force the thug to drag it home to bury it after you cut off one of it's ears or it's tail to turn in to claim a Federal bounty of $10.
That would be a use of tax dollars I would totally support.
I'm thinking they both wanted the OTHER officer to get out of the car and take care of the dog...
If dogs can run way faster than people, imagine what the 21 foot rule looks like in "dog yards". They're much smaller targets, and much faster.
Sounds like a job for a shotgun rather than a pistol. I would try to avoid getting out of the car for that one..
Dogs 1, cops 0
That's some pretty ugly breedism you've got going on there. Were you or someone you know attacked by a Bulldog or something? Aggression has little to do with the breed.
It is hard to get along with dogs when you're not as smart as them.
