    Good.

At all levels of government we need to be fighting back when these two bit politicians take it on themselves to interfere with our constitutional rights.

Correct. But did you notice the look on the male reporters face? He was visually upset that the business was in charge and not his Dem overlords.

Thats what you call a protest?
Big deal, the PD finds a new range and the gun club owners-members now get a second glance on a traffic infraction and maybe don't get a break.

Sure, its the gun owners property and their right to refuse service to anyone.
They aren't causing any grief at all on the people who made the laws.

How odd it would be if the town did an imminent domain land grab to build their own range. And then when the taxes go up to cover the land buildings and personnel, the city can blame the gun range.
Or what if now suddenly, the EPA decides to do a toxicity check on the range to check for lead exposure.

Oh yeah, they really stuck it to the man.

We are a long way from Vermont, but I sent an email anyway. They can certainly use the support.

Better ways to protest than to deter any goodwill created by Law Enforcement and John Q Public shooting together.

    Still....it's a protest.

That's what I thought before I read the article, but this is a city ban being proposed by a city that has been allowed to use their property for firearms training. The club voted to quit letting that city's police use their range. Makes sense, really.

They get the "Ronnie Barrett award."

LE in that locality should do what they need to do - be vocal about the idiocy of the law that jurisdiction is attempting to pass. Will that happen? A unified front from LE< versus a lone sheriff speaking out on absurd gun laws? NO. We will see idiot chiefs with lots of fancy jewelry on their collars standing behind politicians.

I am in support of the action, and the police, but the city council pushed it...
    So be it.

I wonder what an annual membership costs there. I'm thinking maybe I need to become a member there... who knows, I might actually be in Vermont some day.

Well, then, in that case the people that own the gun range are retarded. What they should have done was ban their state legislators, members of congress, and the president.

Instead, as always, they are near sighted. But, hey, I guess no one has to respond to their range unless ordered to, right?:steamed:

I think that many police officers might understand and be sympathetic.
    Ya think??
